About me
Currently an Outreach Coordinator at the Institute for Advanced Computational Sciences (IACS) a Center for Inclusive (CIE) at Stony Brook University. My work supports initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in STEM Graduate education and research. Training in both plant and animal developmental genetics. Interests in STEM literacy and mentoring the next generation of scientists. Prior experience as an independent investigator with research support from National Institutes of Health (NIAID). Research focused on genetic and developmental regulation of wound response. Tested the intersection of inflammation and wound healing in fruit flies.
