The 2026 University of New Mexico McNair Scholars Research Conference

Ryan has over 15 years of experience in higher education and joined the University of Cincinnati as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for Recruiting in July 2023. He most recently served as the Director of Enrollment Services at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati. He has also had the opportunity to work for the non-profit organization Education at Work, which partnered with colleges, universities, and Fortune 500 companies to provide college students with employment opportunities and tuition assistance. Before moving to Cincinnati, Ryan held roles in admissions at West Virginia University, talent recruitment and management in the pharmaceutical industry, and worked at a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing homelessness, all in his home state of West Virginia. Beyond his professional roles, Ryan owns his own event planning business, hosts trivia throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, serves on the staff of the UC Bearcat Bands, and is a Dog Dad to Oscar, his goldendoodle.
